We decided to create Yournewsday.com because we, like millions of people around the world, like you, wanted a news source that is open to everyone to share their news – personal, local, national and international - with the world, on demand, when it works for us, 24/7, no matter where we are.

We wanted to create the most comprehensive and accessible framework so that people could choose whatever format that most suited them to upload their stories. We did not want people to feel excluded for technical reasons. What you have to say is the most important thing.

Yournewsday.com is the news site for everyone on which news can be uploaded in three formats – video, audio and text – the last two formats can be accompanied by photographs while all formats allow you to choose your own headlines and introduction to your story.

Join now and (membership is free and requires a simple registration) and you can utilize Yournewsday in two ways:

   1) By contributing your news. You can do this by clicking on a unique and simple tool exclusive to YND which is on the top left hand of the Homepage, news editor, which assists you to maximize the impact of your story while leaving the content untouched. In addition, you have the option to be alerted to comments on your news story allowing you to respond in turn so that you are fully involved on an on-going basis.

   2) By getting your news alerts. When you sign in, you will be asked for your preferences. By clicking on those of most interest to you (there is no limit to the categories that you can have) and then requesting email alerts, we will ensure that you receive news stories in those categories as they break so that you stay involved at all times of your choosing.

Yournewsday.com has no agenda, no political or geographic bias. It is open to everyone in the world to reflect their news and share it.
